Next month people from across Ospreylia will gather at the Ospreys Region Community Awards Night to celebrate the people who make rugby happen in our region. Here is how you can nominate.
On 15th June 2018 the Ospreys Region CommunityAwards Night will see people from across the community rugby world gather at The Orangery in Margam Park. The evening will be a celebration of rugby and a chance to reward the sometimes unseen efforts of people within clubs and schools across Ospreylia. It’s also a chance for committees, clubs, colleagues and schools to come together for a special evening that celebrates the people who give the most to the game.
But who is it that will be going home with the awards? Well that’s down to you to decide as all shortlists will be made from the public’s nominations. So if you know an individual or team that deserves to be recognised in the following categories let us know.
- Mini and Junior Volunteer of the Year
- Youth Volunteer of the Year
- Youth Leader of the Year
- Women and Girls Volunteer of the Year
- Referee of the Year
- Most Inspirational Person
- Team of the Year
- Dereck “Deco” Davies Lifetime Achievement Award
More information on the requirements for the awards can be found HERE, and to nominate someone please send a completed form (one per nomination), found HERE, to jdavies@wru.wales by 5pm on 18th May. Please also include a photograph of the nominee where possible.
