Cardiff Blues 10 Ospreys 27
The Ospreys reached their first ever EDF Energy Cup Final after this resounding win over an indisciplined Cardiff Blues side at the national stadium.
James Hook kicked 17 points while Sonny Parker and Lee Byrne both touched down for tries against a side that received three yellow cards.
Ben Blair scored all of the Blues points, his late try little more than a consolation.
With Scott Morgan the first Blues man in the bin, Parker put in a neat step in midfield to break the tackle of Jamie Robinson before showing pace and power to cross in the corner for a try.
From the restart, Blues lock Deiniol Jones clumsily took Alun Wyn Jones out in the air, meaning that he joined Morgan in the sin bin.
Morgan returned, but moments before half-time his side was back to 13 men when Robert Sidoli raised his hand at Brent Cockbain and pushed his opposite number to the floor.
Deiniol Jones was back in the action at the start of the second half, but a delightful pass from Hook helped create space out wide for Byrne who cut through some weak midfield tackling to score in the corner.
Late on, Nicky Robinson's wide pass sent Blair over in the corner for a try that made no difference to the outcome.
The Ospreys face the Blues at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Friday night, 7.15pm KO.
