There will be a minute’s silence ahead of kick-off tonight, marking Remembrance Day and in memory of Tim Jones, father of Alun Wyn and former Swansea RFC stalwart.
Players, management and supporters from both Ospreys and Harlequins will pause to pay their respects to the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces who have been killed or wounded serving their country before the game gets underway.
Ospreys players will visibly show their support for the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal when they wear special poppies on their match jersey.
Meanwhile, Tim Jones will be remembered at one of his favourite places, St Helens rugby ground, following his sad passing recently after a long illness.
Supporters attending the game are advised to be inside the ground and in place early to avoid causing any unintended disruption, particularly given that many may be unfamiliar with the venue. Turnstiles open at 6.35pm, an hour before kick-off.
The council operated car park at the Recreation Ground, close to St Helens will also be on tonight providing ample spaces just a short walk from the ground for just £2 per car.
You will find the car park at:
Recreation Ground, Mumbles Road, SA2 0AT
You can buy tickets for this game priced at £10 (U16s go free) at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office or at the turnstile on the night. Season members are reminded that you need to collect your match ticket from the Ticket Office (at no extra charge) from the Liberty Stadium to guarantee entry.
