In preparation for the forthcoming Regional Age Grade season the Eyasses Under 16's have been to Gamecock Barracks , Nuneaton this week.
The squad arrived at Gamecock on Sunday afternoon and returned home on Wednesday after playing a pre season friendly against Saracens Under 16's at Old Albanians RFC , St Albans .
The hard work put in during this period by the squad and coaching staff proved beneficial resulting in the Eyasses gaining a 40 - 5 victory over the Saracens with first half tries from Jordan Adderley, Callum Bowden and Jonathan Fox all converted by fly half Luke Price. The Saracens scored the first try of the second half but further tries from Martyn Davies, Tom Evans and Max Easey and two conversions from Luke Price resulted in an excellent victory for the Eyasses.
