Virtual Ospreys Cup

Firstly, from all at Ospreys in the Community, we hope you and your families are staying safe during these tough times.

We are devastated that the Ospreys cup competitions can’t take place this year, and I’m sure you and your team are missing rugby as much as we are. So, we have decided to re-ignite the Ospreys cup through a virtual competition.

The competition entry fee normally goes to pay referees, casual staff and the finals day (Which can’t run for obvious reasons). So, we have decided to donate the remaining amount to Swansea Bay Health Charity to support the NHS.

The Virtual cup will commence with the under 15’s competition, with the groups draw announcement & NHS Sweepstake announcement.

We will outline how the competition looks and how you can proceed through the competition - It will be on a vote basis, so please get your team behind it, family and friends, and whoever else you can to boost your chances of progressing. Voting for the group stages will start on Saturday 16th May at 9am (only on the Ospreys in the community Twitter platform)

To top up the donation to the NHS, we will also be looking to run a sweepstake raffle, where you can purchase a number from 1-24 (in each competition) and you will be provided a team, that has been randomly allocated to that number. The winner will receive an Ospreys jersey, signed by the whole squad - All money raised will go to the same NHS charity. To get your hands on a number, simply message us on Facebook for your chosen number and we can send you a link for your payment.
