The Ospreys have received a welcome boost ahead of Saturday’s top of the table clash with Munster at the Liberty Stadium with confirmation that Wales have released seven players back to the region.
With Munster flying high at the top of the Guinness PRO12 table, just a point ahead of the Ospreys in second place, the game is the first on two successive weekends at the Liberty that could have a huge bearing on the end of season placings.
The return of seven key players will increase the options available to Steve Tandy and his coaches, with the confirmed line-up to be announced on Friday at midday ahead of Saturday’s 5.15pm kick-off.
The players released back to the Ospreys by Wales Head Coach, Rob Howley, are:
Nicky Smith, Rhodri Jones, Scott Baldwin, Rory Thornton, James King, Olly Cracknell and Sam Davies.
They will report for training at Llandarcy Academy of Sport on Thursday in preparation for the weekend’s game.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are available to buy now at ospreysrugby.com/buytickets priced from just £20 for adults. If you then buy a ticket for the game against Glasgow on Sunday 26th February, you get the second game for half price!
