WRU DISCIPLINARY PANEL HEARING
The Ospreys flanker, Steve Tandy, has been suspended from playing rugby for two weeks by the WRU Professional Disciplinary Panel after being found guilty of reckless play during the Magners League match against Leinster at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea on Friday March the 6th.
The panel chaired by Terry Vaux ruled that his action was at the lower end of seriousness for the reported offence. They found that Mr Tandy appeared to express regret to his opponent and the player was able to resume playing after treatment.
Mr Tandy had been cited by the Independent Citing Commissioner following the match.
