Captain Lloyd Peers (pictured) and his players know that victory over Blues South tomorrow night (Wednesday 24th) will mean automatic qualification to the Reebok Final.
A failure to achieve a victory would still leave the door open but then the team becomes dependent on other results going in their favour. So the attitude tomorrow for a team that has grown in confidence and ability as the season has developed is to go out and grab a victory that would give them a chance to topple the unbeaten record of the Blues North in the Reebok Final. Head Coach Alex Evans said "unfortunately we would have liked to have given more rugby to all of the players within the squad, but with a trophy to be won we have been a little conservative with our selection policy this time around. However, with some friendly fixtures lined up in the next couple of weeks, the squad players will get an opportunity to remind us of their qualities." The match with the Blues South has been moved from Rumney RFC to the University of Glamorgan Playing Fields in Treforest, kick off 7.15pm.
