As excitement grows ahead of the big reveal of the 2015/16 jersey at the Liberty this Saturday, we are looking for young supporters to join the players on the catwalk and help launch the new shirt.
Members of the public are being invited to nominate a young Ospreylian who they feel has earned the rare opportunity to play a key part in one of the biggest days in the region’s calendar, joining their heroes on stage at the eagerly awaited launch event.
To be nominated, the supporter must be under 16 and available on the day of the launch (Saturday 22nd August).
Andrew Hore CEO of Ospreys Rugby, said:
“Our supporters play a huge part in our success and we’d like to give the opportunity to youngsters across the region to get involved in what is always a very exciting day for us. Perhaps they have excelled in school this year; maybe they have had a difficult time and deserve a special reward or thank you to give them a boost, or perhaps they are simply the number one fan. Whatever the reason, visit our Facebook page and tell us why they should be chosen.”
The five lucky winners will receive a free 2015/16 Ospreys jersey and will have the chance to join some of the Ospreys players on stage at the stadium for the big reveal.
Throughout the week, the Ospreys' smart cars, covertly branded with the secret new kit, will be touring the area, inviting people to ‘spot the smart car.’ The location will be revealed on Ospreys social media every day this week from Tuesday, offering another chance for youngsters to win a kit and a chance to appear on stage at kit launch.
