Is your property at risk of flooding?

Flood Awareness Wales will be visiting the Liberty Stadium on Sunday 27th February for the match between the Ospreys and Connacht, highlighting that one in six properties in Wales is at risk.

Flood Awareness Wales is a programme being run by Environment Agency Wales which aims to make sure that everyone living within a flood risk area is aware of the risk, aware of how they can receive a warning and aware of the practical steps they can take to prepare.

On Sunday, our team of flood awareness officers will be in the supporters village with the giant flood awareness wellies to be on hand to:

  • Help supporters find out if their property is at risk of flooding.
  • Provide advice on how to receive a warning and if possible sign up those at risk to receive the Environment Agency’s free Flood Warnings Direct phone service.
  • Hand out free flood advice packs, which include a personal flood plan, advice leaflets and a short instructional DVD detailing steps that can be taken around the home to help reduce the impact of a flood.

Come and visit the team between the hours of 12:30 and 16:30 to find out if you can benefit from some free advice.
