The Ospreys welcome Edinburgh, Grenoble and the Scarlets to the Liberty Stadium this December and we need your support for what is building up to be a huge month for the region.
The first home game of the month is the Guinness PRO12 game against Edinburgh on Friday 2nd December, 7.35pm kick-off, the first game back at the Liberty following the autumn international window.
Two weeks later Grenoble are the visitors on Saturday 17th December, for a 3pm kick-off in a non-televised fixture as the Ospreys look to continue their flying start to their European Rugby Challenge Cup campaign which sees them sitting top of Pool 2 after bonus point wins over Newcastle and Lyon in the opening rounds last month.
After a 10-day break, it’s the big one, with the big south-west Wales derby against the Scarlets at 3.00pm on Tuesday 27th December, a game where there is always a bumper crowd. With almost 10,000 tickets already snapped up, the advice to supporters is to act now or miss out as demand picks up closer to Christmas.
Andrew Millward, Ospreys Rugby Managing Director, said:
“December is a busy month for us with three big home games and high interest across all three matches after a good start to the season for the team.
“As everybody knows, the Scarlets derby at Christmas is like nothing else. It was a game I always loved playing in and I still love watching from the stand.
“We know that we are going to have the biggest crowd of the season for that game, with early sales very high and the traditional interest in the game. It’s going to be a huge occasion with a big crowd and a great atmosphere, exactly what Christmas rugby is all about, with all the tradition of local rivalry.
“There may be six weeks until Christmas still but don’t hang around if you want a ticket for this match.”
Hospitality is also selling extremely well for this game with limited availability remaining. Anybody looking to book hospitality for the Scarlets game are urged to contact the commercial team at the Liberty Stadium without delay by calling 01792 616488 now.
Tickets for all three games are on sale now at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office and online at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets priced from just £20 for adults, £5 U16s.
