St Helen's Sports Ground
Ospreys Rugby’s plans to move the iconic St Helen’s Sports Ground have reached an important milestone with the agreement of Swansea Council’s ruling cabinet – subject to conditions - to invest in St Helen’s to create a new stadium there.
The next chapter in Ospreys history is upon us as we plan our move to St Helen's Sports Ground from the 25/26 season. Excitement is building for professional rugby's return to the stadium that hosted Wales' first international rugby match vs England in 1882.
We remain firmly on course to commence phase one construction in Spring 2025. Our aim is for the Ospreys to take to the field at St Helen’s by Winter 2025. Whilst we’ll play our initial home games of the 2025/26 season at alternate venues, the wait will be well worth it for our supporters, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone home.
St Helen's is in the heart of our rugby community and we want it to be the heart of the business community too, championing local business wherever possible.
From the bricks to the beers, we want this iconic venue to be built by and for our local community.
Supporters who pay a £50 membership deposit will get priority access to the new stadium.
Businesses currently supporting the Ospreys will also be considered first as the tender process for the new stadium and associated services develops. Interested businesses are invited to attend our St Helen's Procurement business club on January 11th.
